Why did I use my cell phone instead of a camera? Well, I have a very simple explanation for that. I used my cell phone, iPhone 8+, because my movie is all about cell phones and social media. I wanted to film it with my phone because I wanted to show how nowadays is everything in our phones and how we couldn’t live without it. I also wanted to show how even with movies, it can be done everything with a phone.
I am also quite happy with this decision because it was much easier to use my phone than a camera. Last year, when I was taking AS Media, we had a task to film an opening sequence and of course write a blog on it. For that opening sequence, I used a camera, which was done well, but when I compared my last years movie and this years movie, I find this years movie much better filmed with the phone. I also had some problems with the camera last year, it was very difficult to use because I never used a camera before that. That is also a reason, why I chose to film my A level movie with my phone. This phone, iPhone 8+ has also a great camera, even a better one than the camera I used last year.
