For my A level Advanced Portfolio I have decided to do the short film package.
Here’s the storyline for my short film:
My short film is about a girl who is obsessed by Instagram and social networks. She is trying to present this perfect life on Instagram in which she seems happy and in which she seems to have everythig every girl could want. Everyone wants to be here. But, in real life she is very unhappy, she is not satisfied with herself, with her looks and her lifestyle. So, she is trying to keep up the fasade of happy life, posting pictures everyday and being active on social media. She goes around the city with her “friends”, going to places she doesn’t reall like, only because they are popular.
Her life is dedicated to creating a perfect image. She makes sure to wear the right thingsand look the best, but in reality she hates it all. There will be a scene in which she realises she is not happy with this lifestyle.
I will be using DaVinci editing software and my Iphone 8 plus for recording the footage. I plan on using Photoshop to create the postcard and Wix to create a website (www.wix.com)
